Peter Urey.

Peter held executive leadership roles with Hewlett Packard for 14 years.  He became Marketing Director of the Imaging and Printing Division.  He had P&L responsibility for product lines with combined annual revenues of $1bn ranging from consumer Deskjets and Digital Cameras up to the corporate Managed Print Service. He took numerous products including PCs through their full life-cycle and established new product catagories including multi-function printing and networked converged copier / printers.

He graduated from the HP LEAD Leadership development programme. Areas of specific expertise include Product Lifecycle Management and Channel Management. Peter was recognised for his ability to see the “Big Picture” and operationalise strategic plans. He is regarded as a creative “out of the box” thinker.

Peter recently completed a project to leverage the Rhino Rugby brand into fashion, artificial turf and on-field playing kit and is on the main board of Rhino Sport and Leisure.

Prior to HP he mastered the art of new business direct selling with Personal Computers and Computacenter. He has a degree in Law from Christ Church, Oxford, is a qualified full knock-down Black Belt Karate Instructor. He lives in Kew with his wife and three children.

“Peter is an orginal thinker with an eye for critical insights in marketing. He has a unique combination of both thinking at the strategy level and the operational detail level. This skill enables him to operationalise strategy much faster or leave the idea at the strategic level “tagged” as lacking ability to be operationalised. He is also a very charming person.” April 30, 2008
